How to put roms on your iPod touch : Introduction

You may be new to this subject or a pro just looking for rom addresses. In this guide I'll show you simply how to upload roms on to you iPod touch.

Okay some sites install the roms for you automatically but for all of you who can't get this going here is a manual guide.

How to put roms on your iPod touch : Steps

Okay here we go

Step 1

First you need to install a programme which will allow you to SSH into your iPod touch.
Mac users should use Fugu. You can get Fugu at http://rsug.itd.umich.edu/software/fugu/.
Windows users should use Putty, which you will find at http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/.

Step 2
Where it has connect to you need to put in there your iPod touch ip Address. You can get this from you Wi-Fi settings. The username is root. Then use port is 22. The password is alpine.

Step 3 Simply go to the Media Folder. Then copy across from your ROM folder into the Media folder and Bobs your uncle.
