Fight Back Against Big Oil

Experts on oil industry financials are forecasting a continued rise in gas and oil prices to rise above last month's records, partially due to the plans that the Fed has to continue lowering rates. Lower rates tend to weaken the dollar. Minutes of the Fed's March meeting, released Tuesday afternoon, showed policymakers were far from unified in their intention to slash the Fed funds rate another .075, and clearly demonstrated much concern about the current state of the economy overall.
The unprecedented price per barrel of crude oil now has also driven diesel prices higher and higher. This past month the national average was within two cents of the record that was set the previous month
But a number of experts expect that price to rise into new ranges , to boldly go where it has never gone before.

The higher costs of a barrel of oil is a major factor.
Gasoline prices always go up in the Spring months, routinely . People do more driving and the oil industry uses this as a justification to raise prices, claiming that the surpluses are being drawn upon more heavily.
